A place for relaxed, everyday conversations with AI characters. Some people come to chat about their interests, some to practice a language, and some to get more comfortable with small talk or a conversation they've been putting off. It works like a familiar messaging app.

No. Every character is an AI, and every character is labeled AI character in the app. Nobody is reading your messages and typing back. Characters can't be met, called, or contacted anywhere outside the app, and their portraits are generated artwork, not photos of real people.

Each character has a fixed personality, life story, interests and way of talking, written and reviewed by our team. Some are chatty and warm, some are brief and direct, and some will politely disagree with you. That's on purpose: real conversations aren't always smooth, and practising with different styles is part of the value.

Adults aged 20 and older. If something you write suggests you might be younger, chatting is paused until you confirm your age.

Open Explore, tap a character to read their profile, then tap Start chat. The character usually says hello first. The conversation then appears in Chats, newest first.

Chats lists everyone you're talking with. Favorites is your own shortlist: tap Save on a character to keep them there, whether or not you've chatted yet. Starting a chat never adds someone to Favorites by itself.

It shows characters who share the interests you chose in Profile, Interests, with the characters who best fit your goals from quick setup listed first. Browse shows everyone, with tags you can tap to filter.

Yes. Go to Profile, Redo quick setup. Anything you skip keeps its current value.

Yes, if your browser supports it. Tap the microphone in a chat to speak your message. The microphone only listens after you tap it, and you can cancel before sending. Speech uses your own browser's or device's built-in speech features, so availability and voices vary between devices. Typing always works.

Yes. Tap the speaker in a chat's header to have that character's replies read aloud, or turn on Read replies aloud automatically in Profile, Settings. You can also choose "Speaking and listening" in quick setup.

Characters marked with a language, such as "Spanish practice", always reply in that language and adjust to your level. They can add a short explanation or a gentle correction under their message, shown separately from the conversation. You can set your level and the language explanations are written in from the chat's menu, under Practice settings.

Characters keep short notes from your conversations, like your interests or something you mentioned, so the next chat can pick up where you left off. You can see and delete these notes from a chat's menu, under What they remember, or turn memory off entirely in Profile, Settings. Notes are never shared between your characters or with other people.

Yes. In Profile, Interests, add tags under Topics to skip. Characters won't bring those topics up. If you raise one yourself, they'll follow your lead.

Only if you turn on Messages from characters in Profile, Settings. It's off by default. When on, a character you haven't talked to for a few days may say hello, never more than one at a time. These messages are written by the app, not sent live by a person.

Yes. Profile, Settings has three text sizes and a theme choice: Auto (follows your device), Light or Dark.

Open the chat, tap the menu in the top corner, and choose Archive or Delete. Deleting removes the chat from your list, but the character still remembers you if you start talking again. To remove what they remember, delete their notes under What they remember first.

Use the report option next to the message in the chat. Reports are reviewed by our team and help us improve how characters behave.

Your conversations are private to your account. Messages are processed by our AI provider to generate replies and checked by automated safety systems. See the Privacy Policy for the details, including how long data is kept.

So you can try the app without handing over personal details. Your account starts out tied to this device only. To keep it if you change or lose your phone, go to Profile, Sign up or log in and save it with an email and password.

Yes. The free plan includes up to 30 messages a day. The paid plan removes the daily limit. Paying never changes how a character treats you. See Pricing.

First save your account with an email and password in Profile. Then, on the other device, tap Already saved an account? Log in on the welcome screen.

Check that your browser has permission to use the microphone, and that "Speak your messages" is on in Profile, Settings. Some browsers don't support speech input at all. In that case, typing still works everywhere.

Read-aloud uses the voices installed on your device. Check your device volume, and try another voice in your device's speech settings. Some languages have no voice on some devices.

No character shares the interests you picked yet. Add a few more in Profile, Interests, or use Browse to see everyone.
